Photographs are quite literally a moment captured in time. Years and years to come, these pictures often hold so much more meaning than ever expected and will be held by generations to come.  I never realized how valuable a photograph could be until I lost my dad to cancer when I was just 13. The ability to look back on these photos and  let memories trickle into my mind, fills mine and my family's hearts with joy. Who knew that physical printed photos could bring someone so much comfort. As a professional photographer now, my goal with every client I work with is to capture authentic, genuine moments, so that for years to come through life's up's and down's they can reflect on their photos and feel joy they felt in that moment.

Photography is so much more than just pretty photos. I truly embrace capturing my clients  exactly as they are, their everyday beauty and authentic personalities. I always encourage my clients to be present and embrace the moments we have while taking photos. Embrace the beautiful chaos! Capturing present moments are the most memorable ones in my opinion. A nice family photo with everyone looking at the camera is always great, but the photos with the kids laughing and making funny faces, is life's reality, and captures exactly who they are!
